About Us: Toro Robatayaki is a vibrant and modern Japanese restaurant specialising in the
traditional art of robatayaki (charcoal grill) alongside a sophisticated menu of sushi, sashimi,
and innovative Japanese cuisine.
We are currently seeking passionate and skilled chefs and apprentice chefs
Chef required qualifications and skills
At least 1 year of experience as a Cook or Chef in Japanese Cuisine.
Strong technical cooking skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for food.
The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a close-knit team.
Formal culinary training and food safety knowledge are highly regarded.
Apprentice Chefs -What We’re Looking For:
A True Passion for Food: You love cooking, eating, and learning about all things
food-related.
Positive Attitude: You have a can-do attitude, are reliable, and are eager to work as part of a team.
Strong Work Ethic: You’re prepared to work hard, be on your feet for long hours,
and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to Learn: You're a quick learner who can take direction and feedback
constructively.
