한우리컬리지는 시드니 힐스 지역(듀럴)에 위치한 학원으로, 학과목 및 예체능 수업을 1:1 또는 소규모 형태로 제공합니다. 꾸준한 성장에 따라 함께할 선생님을 수시로 모집하고 있습니다.

본 학원은 장로교 선교사 가정이 운영하는 곳으로, 기독교 문화를 이해하고 학생들을 사랑과 열정으로 지도할 수 있는 분을 더욱 환영합니다.

호주 학생들을 대상으로 수업을 진행하기 때문에 고급 영어 실력을 갖춘 분, 특히 시드니에서 우수한 성적으로 고등학교를 졸업한 튜터를 선호합니다.

또한, 음악이나 언어 과목을 가르치고자 하시는 분은 아이엘츠(IELTS) 6.0 이상의 영어 실력을 갖추셨다면 지원 가능합니다.

Hanwoori College has been providing after-school and holiday classes for students in the Hills area for over a decade. We seek tutors who approach teaching with love, passion, and a Christian mindset. We focus on providing 1:1 and small group (no more than 4 students per class) tuition for Kindy to year 12.

Opening hours: 10am – 10pm weekdays; 9am - 7pm Saturdays

Location: Dural (Behind Dural McDonald's)

Current Vacancies:

Maths tutors (Year 1-12, particularly for Level 5.3 to HSC Standard 2/ 2U/ 3U/ 4U)
English tutors (high school to HSC English Extension)
Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology)
Music (piano, violin, guitar, drum)
Language (Japanese/Chinese)


Tutors’ Requirements:

· Has Christian faith and understands we are a tutoring centre with Christian philosophy and values.

· Holds or working towards university degree(s) or graduates

· Australian school graduates / have good knowledge about the Australian curriculum (preferred)

· Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience with a passion for making a difference in student's lives and an encouraging approach.

· Own transport to Dural (mandatory)

· Working With Children's Check Clearance number (or willing to complete a WWCC)

· Expected to work 1-3 afternoons/nights or days a week during our opening hours specified above. We try our best to schedule timetables that suit our teachers.

· Fluent spoken and written English skills are essential (Korean speaker preferred)

· This position is only open to citizens and permanent residents of Australia or those with a working visa.


What we offer:

· Good remuneration depending on teaching subject, qualifications and experience.

· No need to travel to students' houses, teach at our centre in Dural only

· Most teaching is in a 1:1 environment or no more than four students per class

· Opportunity for longer hours of work for those teachers who have excellent skills in 2 or more disciplines

· No need to handle student's parents’ inquiries. All customer communication is handled by our managers so tutors can focus solely on their students

Our management and senior tutors can help you prepare materials and curriculums.
