Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cafe Chef to create mouthwatering meals for our customers. From sandwiches to salads, baked goods to tasty foods, you will play a key role in designing, preparing, and executing our menu items to perfection. If you have a love for food, creativity, and teamwork, we want you!
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of cafe-style meals, ensuring each dish meets quality standards.
Assist in menu development, providing suggestions for new items and seasonal specials.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to all food safety standards.
Manage food prep and ensure ingredients are stocked and fresh.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and manage orders during busy hours.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in inventory management and placing orders for supplies as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a chef, cook, or kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
Strong culinary skills and creativity in menu development.
Ability to manage kitchen operations, from prep to plating.
Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
A passion for food and cooking, with a commitment to quality.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
A positive, team-oriented work environment.
