Appen car safety project/Non driving car project/English speaker only
One time project
Hi,
We have a new data collection project that will further improve car-safety via applying eye and face tracking technologies. This data collection captures video, audio and subject metadata (i.e., eye features, age, height, ethnicity etc) to support the development and improvement of machine-learned solution.
Sassafras P26P3 data will be recorded in specially fitted Appen cars that capture participants' seatbelt placement and natural body movements.
This data collection is open to anybody who has NOT participated in any other Appen in-car data collections. Our focus will be adults, but we also require minors between the ages of ≥1 and <18 years old.
BECAUSE OF OUR DEMOGRAPHIC REQUIREMENTS, WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT PARTICIPANTS 18 TO 29 YEARS OLD IF THEY BRING A MINOR WITH THEM TO DO A DUAL RECORDING. SINGLE APPLICANTS BETWEEN 18 TO 29 YEARS OLD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
Participants do not require a driver’s license as the data collection will be performed in a Stationary Vehicle. Participants will be recorded in a test vehicle equipped with cameras and data capture devices and perform a set of activities as instructed by the data collection supervisor.
*Please note, people under 18 will need their legal guardian to accompany them to be able to participate in the data collection.
