About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with experience in sandblasting and spray painting to join our busy workshop in Brisbane. This full-time, hands-on role involves a variety of tasks including metalwork, surface preparation, and finishing. If you have a strong background in welding, fabrication, and surface treatments, and are ready to take on new challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
Weld and fabricate sheet metal, truck bodies, and heavy mining components

Perform sandblasting and spray painting on skip beams, cranes, and mining equipment

Interpret and work from technical drawings with minimal supervision

Ensure high safety and quality standards are maintained at all times

Be flexible to work overtime, weekends, or during shutdowns as required

Skills & Experience Required:
Strong experience in MIG/TIG welding and fabrication

Solid background in sheet metal and heavy-duty structural fabrication

Proficiency in sandblasting and industrial spray painting

Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings independently

Comfortable working unsupervised and managing time effectively

Commitment to safe work practices

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
